A Streamlit application that helps candidates and hiring teams understand how closely a resume aligns with a role.
The challenge
Resume screening is often opaque. Candidates need useful, role-specific feedback, while recruiters need a faster way to compare experience with job requirements.
What I built
- Built a Streamlit workflow for uploading a PDF resume and supplying a target job description.
- Integrated Google's Gemini Pro model to assess alignment, strengths, weaknesses, and missing keywords.
- Converted resume PDFs into model-ready images while keeping API credentials in environment variables.
